Grand Provincials Weekend, Volunteer Positions we need to Fill...

These positions must be filled for both Saturday September 9th
and Sunday September 10th:
Event Coordinator Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7am – 6pm Marnie Vickery
Raffle/Event Coordinator
Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7am – 6pm
Lisa van Staalduinen
10am – 5pm Friday we will be setting up and organizing
the track for the event. Any
help available during the day would be greatly appreciated.
5pm – 9pm Friday Night ONLY – On track volunteers/gate
operator/staging (just like a normal race night we need anyone available for
an open track from 5 – 8pm.
6pm – 8pm Friday Night ONLY Registration (must be a trained personell) (Marnie
and Lisa can fill in)
11am – 3pm approx
Announcer (1 each day)
8am – 3pm approx
Pre-Staging (2 each day)
8am – 3pm approx
Gate Operator (1 each day)
8am – 3pm approx
Track Officials (6 each day)
11am – 3pm approx
Finish Line Placer (holds kids at finish line area until scoring is
complete) (1 each day)
8am – 3pm approx
Maintenance (Track set up/repair/maintenance) (1 each day)
8am – 3pm approx
Facility Maintenance (Parking/Garbage/recycle control) (1 each day)
8am – 3pm approx
Runner (Water/Coffee to volunteers, sheets for finish line) (1 each
day)
8am – 11am
Concession (3 each day)
11am – 2pm
Concession (5 each day)
2pm – 4pm
Concession (2 each day) Tidy up/prep/list of groceries if needed for
next day
7:30am – 11am
BBQ (French Toast/Sausages) 2 each day
11am – 2pm
BBQ (Burgers/hot dogs) 2 each day
(2pm move cooked food items remaining into concession
in chaffing dishes)
2pm – 4:30pm
Awards Table (2 each day)
11am – 1pm
Raffle/50/50 ticket sales (1 each day)
1pm – 3pm
Raffle/50/50 ticket sales (1 each day)
So you can see we need at least 32 volunteers each day
– more would be even better.
